Paragraph: the topic that I'm working on is migration. Migration is to move from one place to another. For example I moved from Australia to new zealand. My understanding of place is like somewhere, people are. For example kawakawa is a place because people live there and work there, and people go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner or just getting stuff from the shops. My understanding of change is or diving or even just moving to a new country.these are 3 concepts relate to migration because their aprat of it and those 3 things new zealand because he migration links to kupe discovering way to new zealand with his wife. This challenged me because I had to learn about something new as in learning about the different values of a country or so.
I am a Year 10 student at Bay of Islands College in Kawakawa, New Zealand. This is a place where I share my learning.

The main character felt left out because he wasn't aloud to hang out with his friends because they were apart of the balaclava boys. He sat by himself and never had a chance to hang out with his closest friends.

kupe review
Over watching this video I have learnt what happened to kupe by not being able to stay in hawaiki and having to leave he said as he left I shall never return I shall find a new land so that what kupe did on his journey to find a new home his enemy mutu rangi and his pet wheke cross parf and mutu rangi pet took kupe and his wife away from his waka and bright him to a new Island with no food and no shelter. After the wheke left they had made a new civilization and kupe found out how to make kumara, kupe wife kuramarote had now named this island Aotearoa which meant New zealand, around Aotearoa Kupe had a son named Tupou tupou whenua and two taniwha named niwa and arathuru + his son and they were the graders of the island, Kupe resent waka was called Matawhaura but after mutu rangi and his wheke took over and stolle his waka and everything in as well, over time kupe had made a new waka named mamari that he use to travel to hawaii and back.

What really happened
Introduction | In Social Studies we learnt about Te Treaty of Waitangi, we watched 7 episodes which gave us an insight into what really happened in the lead up to the Treaty. |
Positive | The chief of the story was acting out the real ones. |
Thoughtful | That the british people thought of the moari and polled over and supported them with their hick. |
Helpful | This topic was helpful for me because it grew my understanding and what took place at that time. |
Question | Are we still prating being one. |
